Members of the Baby Boomer Generation have been protesting to the American Music Association declaring that some Classic Songs need to take a mandatory early retirement. If this law goes into effect our children will no longer be force to listen to AC/DC's Highway to Hell or bang their heads to "Fight for your right to Party" by the Beastie Boys. Many of these "tunes" can cause permanent brain damage if listened to over several years {class study results available} .

Legislators had hope to have the Bill into law before the July 4th weekend but it doesn't look likely. Please be very careful listening to the Radio this weekend, we suggest that you just listen to CD's or pull out those old Disco 8 tracks. Now you won't have to commit suicide to keep from hearing Don McClean's American Pie. Did you ever want to just shoot yourself if you heard "Wild Thing" just one more time? How much furniture damage have you done because the radio station just had to play "FREEBIRD" one more friggin time? Now with the mandatory Classic Rock Retirement program you will never have to hear this crap again. There are hopes of establishing a web site similar to the DoNoTCall.org only it will be called www.DoNotPlay.com.
Some songs already on the DoNotPlay list :
" Walk this Way " by Areosmith (or Run DMC as far as that goes).
"Blue Christmas " by Elvis , "Mellow Yellow " by Donovan.
"All the Things She Said " by t.A.T.u.
And of course any song by Journey.
