Buddha Announces His Son (Bud-Buddha)
from Karl's Cubical
"Bud-Buddha
will be taking on many responsibilities that I have been behindu in,"
stated Buddha.
(Nirvana: by wire) Buddha issued a photo and press release today,
stating that he would soon be abdicating many of his duties to his son.
"As you can see from the attached photograph, my son Bud-Buddha is
coming of age to the fact, or point of fact, that he is almost larger
than, (no he is!) larger than his old man," extolled Siddhartha Gautama
Sakya Sinha, a.k.a.: Buddha.
"This photograph was being that it was taken on my son's birthday
outside of my convenience store on the bypass in downtown Nirvana, after
we had enjoyed a delicious each 44-ounce BIG GULP," explained the Indian
mystic and founder of Buddhism.
"As all things must pass, this must too, reincarnate!" continued the one
who has achieved the ineffable ultimate in which one has attained
disinterested wisdom and compassion.
"Besides," complained Buddha, "I am tired of having him under my foots!"
"Besides this things, it is time for my vacation, as I be taking it
again this year on this the first day of
Ramadan-a-ding-a-dong at the Ramada Inn. It is time to find emancipation from this ignorance and this
the extinction of all attachments known to man: happy-hour and
two-for-one. And quite frankly my friend, it blows here this time of the
season!" Buddha elaborated.
The press release was like many of Buddha's other press releases, except
for some curious doodling of may prove to be a new Buddhistic motto:
"We're number two! Because We Try Harder!" This mystic message, which
many religious scholars have also interpreted, no doubt means that Lord
Buddha is in an ideal condition of rest, harmony, stability, or joy,
with the fact that he is still number two in the ABC's of religion:
Allah, Buddha, & Christ.
Although it is not clear that Bud-Buddha is old enough to handle the
fast lane of transmigration of soul, wine, women and song, like his
father does, Bud-Buddha has garnered a healthy endorsement from
Bud-Light.
About the endorsement, Bud-Buddha was quoted by CBS News Anchor, Dan
Rather, as saying: "That don't mean sh*t to what daddy's did, and be
doing as he do."
